Points to Remember while using a Tripod

1 – The Tripod must be mounted where it can be leveled using the leg adjustments.

3 – Position the tripod such that the lifeline will be directly over the intended work area when installed.

5 – The pins on the legs of Tripod must be securely locked for supporting the intended loading.

2 –  Avoid positioning the tripod where the working line may abrade against sharp edges.

4 –  The mounting surface onto which the tripod is erected must meet minimum strengths of static load of at least 2,500 lbs(10kN) for Personnel Riding & Rescue

6 –  Never allow the working line to extend outside the legs of the tripod. Tipping of the tripod could occur.
