Permeability Test
Test for Insulation against Heat
The foot is protected from extreme heat as in Metal
industries, or Road laying etc. by a footwear
designed to insulate the foot from heat.
According to Indian and European Standards, when the
shoe is kept at 150 C for 1 minute, Internal temperature
of the Shoe should not rise to more than 22 C. KARAM

Property of material to permit odour to pass
through it is checked in this test.

synthetic coated fabrics.

Electrical Resistance Test from compression loads.
This test is performed to determine the electrical Standards, the Clearance below Toe Cap
after applying 15 kN compression load,
resistance of Shoe. should not be less than specified value.
