1 – The Tripod must be mounted where it can be leveled using the leg adjustments.
3 – Position the tripod such that the lifeline will be directly over the intended work area when installed.
5 – The pins on the legs of Tripod must be securely locked for supporting the intended loading.
2 – Avoid positioning the tripod where the working line may abrade against sharp edges.
4 – The mounting surface onto which the tripod is erected must meet minimum strengths of static load of at least 2,500 lbs(10kN) for Personnel Riding & Rescue
6 – Never allow the working line to extend outside the legs of the tripod. Tipping of the tripod could occur.
